Autumn Holiday Club will take place at Bradway Forest School

Come and spend a day or two in the woods with us!
You can choose your own adventure! Be free to explore the woods. Build dens. Swing on a rope swing. Chill in a hammock. Work with tools such as a bowsaw and sheath knife to create your own products. Get crafty with natural resources. Cook on a fire. Make new friends.
Check out our "What You Need" page by clicking the link above. In addition to the kit listed, your child will need a packed lunch (no nuts or fizz please).
Please do not attend if your child is showing symptoms of Covid-19 or has vomited or experienced diarrhoea within the last 48 hours. If your child becomes ill during their day with us, we will phone you to arrange collection. We have handwashing facilities in the woods with warm water, soap and paper towels. We also have hand-sanitiser available (except when working with fire for obvious reasons!).
We have Popaloo toilets which are cleaned and changed regularly. So no need for wild wees!
In the event of high winds during a session, we will arrange for the session to take place in a safer area of the school grounds away from the woods. In the event of an electrical storm we will evacuate to an indoor muster point on the school grounds. We follow a risk-benefit analysis and only consider cancelling a session as an extreme last resort.
A session will only be cancelled in the event of staff shortage due to unexpected illness. If this happens we will offer a refund. If an unforeseen circumstance occurs (such as a short-notice lockdown) we will not refund, instead transfer your booking to another date.
We are able to administer pain relief as part of our First Aid qualification (with parental consent). If your child requires medication such as an inhaler or epipen, please make sure it is in date and handed over to staff at morning drop off.
Please ensure your child has sunscreen and insect repellent already applied on arrival at the woods.
For Bradway Forest School the woods are accessed via a pedestrian gate from the car park at Bradway Primary School. Use the postcode S17 4PD to find us!
For Wild Wilf's Forest School the woods are accessed via the pedestrian gate on Hastings Road. Use the postcode S7 2GW to find us!
Our day starts at 9am. Please arrive no earlier than 8:50am. Please drive and park considerately. Collection is at 5pm. Please wait at the pedestrian gate to drop off and receive your child.
We are motivated by the Forest School ethos as described in the "What Is Forest School?" section of this website. We will support your child to plan what they want to achieve during the day. We follow the Forest LEARNERS code where everyone agrees to LISTEN to others, show EMPATHY, have a positive ATTITUDE, show RESPECT, keep themselves and the woodland NEAT, ENJOY themselves and help others to enjoy their time, is READY in the right place at the right time and keep themselves and others SAFE.
Go on a bug hunt!
